DIRECT REEL SPLITTING (70mm – 3000mm)
Glenpak offers a direct reel slitting service.
Our machine is able to cut widths ranging from around 70mm (7 cm) to just over 3000mm (3m) wide. The Diameters of the reel can vary up to around 1650mm diameter on this unit.
Due to the fact that this unit is a mill graded unit and able to handle all large and small reels for your splitting, cutting or reel recovery requirements we are able to convert around 30 tons for general splitting in a day.
Weight of reels handled can vary up to large heavy duty reels over 2.5t and for paper like NEWSPRINT, KRAFT, BOND and other heavy duty papers.
It must be noted each split has a 18mm cut loss during cutting due to blade and splitting area.
DIRECT REEL RECOVERY
Glenpak Can help recover damaged, wet, elephant foot and core crush reel sides. In the event the reel is beyond your use Glenpak may be willing to buy damaged stock for our clientele or possibly for our split use.
PAPER REEL PRINTING (2-COLOUR) ( >1000mm)
Glenpak has a 2- colour in house flex-printer. We are able to do repeat print on reels to reel paper printing up to around 1000mm wide.
Ideal for print requirements such as GREASEPROOF, KRAFT, SHOP FRONT COVERING, TABLE CLOTHS, PAPER BAGS, PHARMACUETICAL, PIE, FAST FOOD WRAP etc.
PAPER SHEETED PAPER
Glenpak offers Paper sheeting on all repeat or unprinted Papers.
